How Horsham Township Became a ‘Trailblazer’ on Clean Drinking Water

Horsham appears to be only one of a few municipalities in the country to have acted to remove PFAS from their water supply, according to the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators.

In May 2016, Horsham Township Council adopted a four prong course of action to deal with the PFAS issue: Communication, Education, Remediation, Compensation.

And In April 2017, the public drinking water system reached a level of 'non-detect', which it remains at today.

Horsham appears to be only one of a few municipalities in the country to have acted to remove PFAS from their water supply, according to the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators.

Horsham now has some of the highest water standards in the nation. A great example of collaboration and teamwork!
